Sonia Kalirao, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist. She provides patients with the best care possible at The Neurology Institute in Coral Springs, Florida.
Dr. Kalirao completed her neurology residency at New York Medical College at Saint Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, and a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Kalirao's specialties are epilepsy, intra-operative monitoring, EEG, EMG, and using onabotulinum toxin A (Botox®) and rimabotulinum toxin B (Myobloc®).
Dr. Kalirao has experience treating patients of all types and complexities. She is widely published and acts as a principal investigator for multiple ongoing trials in various neurological disorders. She has given dozens of lectures on a wide range of neurological topics and is actively involved in neurological research and community education.
